Columbus Circle Annual Wreath Laying

On Sunday, October 8th, 2017, the Columbia Association in conjunction with the Columbus Citizens Foundation and the National Council of Columbia Associations in Civil Service will be involved with this year's wreath laying ceremony at Columbus Circle. This year is more important than ever to show your support of your heritage and turnout for this prestigious event. Members are urged to attend and wear Class A uniforms.

Columbus Day Parade

Join us on Monday, October 9th 2017
as we march up 5th Avenue in the 2017 Columbus Day Parade.
Our formation will assemble in the W44th Street and 5th Avenue area at 11:00AM.
Come early and enjoy our Pre-Parade Breakfast Reception, from 9:00 - 10:30am.at The General Society of Mechanics and Tradesmen located @ 20 West 44th Street (right where we line up).
At the conclusion of the parade we will once again gather for food and refreshments at the post parade luncheon at St. Jean Baptiste church community center (in the basement): 184 E 76th Street between 3rd and Lexington.

Turn out! We need a showing like no other.This year the Statue of Christopher Columbus in Columbus circle is at risk of being removed. The statue represents the experience of the Italian Immigrant population. We, as Italians, must band together and protect our history and our heritage. In conjunction with the Columbus Citizens Foundation, The Columbia Association supports The National Council of Columbia Associations as it attends a wreath laying ceremony located at 10 Columbus Circle NY NY 10019.
